Ours is an inviting school, where a dedicated staff is committed to providing for the educational needs of our diverse population. A visit to our classrooms will highlight engaging lessons with a focus on literacy, mathematics, and science, the integration of technology in the learning process, and the incorporation of ESOL strategies across the grade levels. Our literacy initiative addresses the needs of our students during the day and their parents two nights each week. Visiting our school would also give you the opportunity to meet our wonderful students, who are models of good character, manners, and friendliness. Elementary: Big Cypress

Big Cypress Elementary School is located on the eastern side of Naples and the western fringes of the Big Cypress Natural Preserve, bordering the Everglades. The school attendance zone is very rural, with single-family homes situated on heavily wooded lots. Our campus consists of 20 acres, including an environmental study area with a wetland site, a pineland site, and a butterfly garden and dragonfly pond.
Our mission is to provide authentically engaging lessons in a positive and safe environment for students to attain an education at the highest level of proficiency.
